Day Two

Talking lots about inquiry today. I realize I get. Lot more than others about it, but I know my role is changing drastically in the librarian role. My mind needs to switch to think about the larger picture and where we need to go in order to have kids ready for college. 

I got a call today from Mac wondering when "my golf stuff" was going to be cleaned up because they want to use the library for staff development. I get Wendy's words about how they forget it's your space. I knew golf wouldn't be priority for any but me (and those that have helped). But whatever... Moving on! 

Day One

Wowing zowie! I have been humbly reminded how much I still have to learn. I am super excited but getting more nervous because of the amount I don't know.  I went over to the school and played with the checkout system. I think I can get it so kids can check I and out on their own. So much to do and so many I can't keep track of it all on to do list.

On another note Robin Williams dies today. Prayers for this creative genius - May he rest in peace and for his family to move ahead and for his fans to keep his legacy alive by never forgetting his cork!
